Trent Correy et moi savions que nous voulions un moment dans le court métrage où Mickey honorerait Walt, mais cette idée était assez intimidante. Que dirait Mickey ? Combien de temps y consacrer ? Nous pensions avec certitude que ce serait quelque chose que nous allions travailler, retravailler et retravailler, mais il s'est avéré que la première version que nous avons écrite et superposée à "Feed the Birds" nous semblait juste... juste. Aucun d'entre nous ne serait ici au studio si vous n'étiez pas restés et n'aviez pas traversé les moments difficiles, les déceptions au box-office et les gens qui disaient que vous étiez fou. Merci. Un rêve devenu vrai : En 2003, juste après son diplôme, Natalie Babbitt Taylor a auditionné pour incarner Blanche Neige dans “Snow White, An Enchanting Musical” à Disneyland. Bien qu'elle soit parmi les finalistes, elle ne fût pas retenue. Après de nombreuses auditions, elle deviendra finalement l'une des Voices of Liberty de Disneyland. Mais son plus grand rêve était de donner sa voix à une princesse Disney. 20 ans plus tard, elle est choisie pour être la voix de Blanche Neige dans Il Était une Fois un Studio, aux côtés des personnages de Lea Salonga et Ariana DeBose.

I am so excited to share that I was given the incredible opportunity to bring the original voice of “Snow White” (played by Adriana Caselotti in 1937) back to life in the short film “Once Upon a Studio” celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Walt Disney Company!

In 2003, right after I graduated from college, I auditioned for the role of “Snow White” in a live show at Disneyland “Snow White, An Enchanting Musical”. After multiple callbacks and being placed on a short list, I didn’t get the part. I was devastated. Over the next 10 years after many auditions and callbacks I finally became an official cast member singing in the Voices of Liberty at Disneyland! A huge dream come true. But my biggest dream of all since I saw “The Little Mermaid” at 7 years old was to be the voice of a Disney princess in an animated film….

After many years of ups and downs, twists and turns, 20 years later my biggest dream came true!

Please go watch this heartfelt, beautiful tribute to the Walt Disney company and the hundreds of lovable characters they have created over the years. You will be brought to tears! You can hear me towards the end of the film singing alongside the amazing Lea Salonga and Ariana DeBose! Now streaming on Disney+ and Hulu and playing at the Opera house at Disneyland for a limited time (where I used to sing in The Voices of Liberty!)

L'image de groupe partagée par Dan Abraham est très proche du résultat final ! Mais je ne suis pas surpris qu'il ait fallu plusieurs semaines de réflexions pour disposer autant de personnages.

That movie came out 81 years ago and it was a thrill to meet (l to r) Peter Behn (Thumper) Donnie Dunagan (Bambi) and Stan Alexander (Flower). They had such great stories about Walt and being such young kids in the film.
The were all very emotional when talking about it which got me emotional.
