- Yesterday was another truly magical day at Disney Animation. My co-directing pal Trent Correy and I were able to screen our short “Once Upon a Studio” for the original voice cast of Bambi! That movie came out 81 years ago and it was a thrill to meet (l to r) Peter Behn (Thumper) Donnie Dunagan (Bambi) and Stan Alexander (Flower). And of course I had to get my Art of Bambi book signed!

They had such great stories about Walt and being such young kids in the film.
The were all very emotional when talking about it which got me emotional.
