La Reine des Neiges II [Walt Disney - 2019]

Elsa:
-She is the center from which all four elements of nature emanates. This is called the Unity Snowflake.
-Images inside Ahthohallen are memories, they’re forming as Elsa is looking at them, not there waiting for her. They’re inside the glacier, not projected on its surface.
-Ahthohallen is a strange place that becomes welcoming and provides some answers, BUT Elsa goes too far.
-When the flood is about to overtake Arendelle, Elsa stops.

Elsa’s Finale Outfit:
- Her dress is free-flowing and ethereal, made from a sheer silk tulle and covered
in ice sequins from top to bottom. It's the garment that is most meant to look like
magic, so there are no seams at the bust or neckline or hem.
-Signifies her final transformation
-The main body of the dress is made of white velvet as a nod to snow and ice. Extended organza in her cape and dress suggest the magical, elusive character she is.
-By the end she incorporates the full spectrum of the elements as well as her snowflake into her outfit.
-Curved bodice silhouette indicated newfound confidence and the iconography of the four elements symbolizes her deep connection to nature.
-As Elsa discovers her connection to the elements they become part of her aesthetic and appear in her clothing.

-Elsa’s travel outfit is designed to show she’s the queen and the one in charge and references armor.

Anna:
-Anna’s maturity can be tracked by her clothing in the film. (like how it’s light cream in the beginning).
-Anna’s travel outfit is black to show she is strong and knows when to be serious.
-The ice boat Elsa built was not made with “panic magic” but for the people she loves so it was deep enough to cradle them and keep them safe.

Lost Caverns:
-Sheer drop at the end of the waterfall with no way out.
-It’s where Anna’s at her lowest point in the film and feels like crying. It’s very tearful, with dripping water.

Anna’s Finale Outfit:
-Green, Purple and Black
-Celebrates her new role as Queen while honoring the Queens before her (Elsa and Iduna).
-Her tiara is simple like Iduna but has a more cut-out negative space like Elsa’s.
-Wheat motif with Arendelle crocus on her cape
-Light and flowy to show Anna’s playfulness
-Wool, Velvet and Silk
-Arendelle wheat symbol is primary motif
-Kristoff’s finale outfit compliments hers.
-Engagement ring is an orange diamond.

Iduna:
-She had to endure many emotional wounds but she’s a nurturing mother who put her family first.
-She didn’t speak much in the first film;but all along she was looking for ways to help her daughters as well as the people she came from. To help heal the broken land.
-Anna and Elsa probably wouldn’t succeed in this journey if not for all their mother did for them.

Shawl:
-Iconography on it will lead Elsa to discovery her destiny.
-Provides visual clues to Iduna’s past and Anna and Elsa’s futures.

Mattias:
-Warm and heroic. Pragmatic and a optimist.

Other Random Bits:
-They tried find physical features to show how they’re all related (Anna, Elsa, Agnarr, Iduna and Grandfather Runeard)
-They talk about how peoples features change as they age (so yes the young girl in the trailer is Iduna)
-There was a story version where the castle washed away in a flood and they rebuilt it in Arendelle +Northuldra style (Not in the final film).
-Since Elsa Opened the gates people from all over the world have moved there.
