En attendant, pour les anglophiles, je soumets quelques extraits critiques mais très justes d'une review dans l'ensemble élogieuse ( intégralité dispo dans le lien à la fin) " Think about it, we barely see Anna and Elsa in the same room, and when they are, it is so quick! Even at the end, when Anna and Elsa have thawed everything, they didn’t talk or hash things together.. No, the movie just ended. The pacing of this movie is really weird. It is incredibly off! I mean, Wow! What were they thinking? The beginning was paced really well, with the ice harvesters, toddler Anna and Elsa, trolls, and the parents. This also includes the coronation scene, the pacing in that was done well too! Granted, i did want to see Anna have a moment after Elsa told her that things can’t be like they used to be. But still. it worked, with the exception of Love is an Open Door. This song is probably one of my favorites, but it went by so quick and so fast that I forgot all about 5 minutes later! And I could tell that the movie had been crowded with songs at that point because all the songs were squished into the first act! But more on that later! The pacing is back to normal until Let it Go, when everything is so incredibly fast, AGAIN! I will talk about it later because I plan on discussing every song. After Let it go, things are back to slow and then the pacing just goes berserk at the end! It wasn’t steady at all! And I figured out that THAT is my main problem with the movie! (…)But my main problem about this whole mess, is that Anna got the lesson and told the audience, but Elsa didn’t. She just said “Love” and boom, the great thaw happened! I felt like it was the ONE thing that should have been shoe-horned in the movie. (…)The ending was just meh for me. The climax worked well. But I didn’t like how fast Anna froze. and it happened so conveniently as Hans struck his sword. I didn’t mind that her frozen time was short, because that seemed realistic. But again, Elsa didn’t learn anything out loud! everything was learned for her! I really wanted her to be the one to figure out that Anna’s sacrifice was the act of true love! Even then, everything happens so fast! the great thaw was fast, and didn’t visually impress me. And THERE WAS NO RECONCILIATION MOMENT BETWEEN ANNA AND ELSA!!(…)Let it go - The most disappointing Scene in the movie. I mean, wow! I had BIG expectations for this scene. The scene where Elsa builds her stunning ice castle.. But guess what, NO! She only builds her castle in like 30 seconds of this 3:40 minutes song! I understood that they wanted to have a deep character moment for Elsa, and they did! The first Verse was perfect! And then the second was just more of her running around and giving us happy expressions! Why? They did that in the first verse and chorus! I just expected more from the castle! We barely got to see it being created and even later on when we see the castle, I’m just sitting there going “How did you build all of that in 30 seconds?” And that was just sad! I wanted to see more! Even the scene with her dress, it happens so fast! But.. it is still a good song. even if the sequence was disappointing.
