I was honestly really thankful to have been given the chance to make the colour script for the short. I’ve never made one before (and am usually too scared to paint when there are way more qualified artists to do it) but @tallychyck gave me a chance and @dethancooper_art guided me through the process. Painted over the existing storyboards… Thanks to @tallychyck for directing such a charming short and allowing me to contribute For students, the idea behind this was to capture both the mood and the light of the Pacific Northwest area…. Starting off neutral sunlight/ complimentary shadows, then darker and cooler to feel more foreboding… and finally beautiful twilight towards the end…
