[Disney California Adventure] The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Undersea Adventure (2011)

Sa a l'air d'etre un très bonne attraction j'ai hate de voir quand cela sera completement terminé !
Sa donne vraiment envie ! Personnellement je serais pour la construction a disneyland paris !

Ouf, donc comme la plupart d'entre vous je serrai pour une adaptation française de cette attraction, mais malgré plusieurs explications je voit mal comment sera la transition terre/mer.

Le parcours n'est pas droit, comme dans Phantom Manor les véhicules Omnimover descendront lentement une pente de quelques mètres, séquence durant laquelle les éclairages, ajoutés à divers effets spéciaux (projection de bulles, air froid etc.) changeront pour te donner l'impression de descendre sous l'eau. Et inversement pour remonter à la surface.

C'est sacrement grand comme bâtiment, je trouve. Est ce du décor ou tout est nécessaire pour faire rentrer l'attraction?

Car vu la taille, je la vois difficilement à son emplacement initial à Fantasyland (DLP)

Almost Part of Your World

Near Duffy’s new digs is the big Little Mermaid show building, which is still right on schedule for a May grand opening. The interior of the attraction is having the last of the major mechanics installed for the Omnimover ride system, and then the bigger set pieces will move in by the end of the year. Once the big stuff is in place, it’s relatively easy to snap the 108 clamshell vehicles on to the track from the maintenance bay on the northwest corner of the ride building, plug in the dozens of animatronics sitting in storage, and begin a few months of testing and adjusting this winter.
If all goes well, they’d like to be doing soft openings for Mermaid by April, 2011, and then debut it at a big media event in May hyping Mermaid, Star Tours 2.0, Disneyland’s new Soundsational parade (that opens later this winter), and the revamped Paradise Pier section of DCA. 2011 will be a very exciting year for Anaheim, with the debut of several big new attractions and a new parade, and a growing fan frenzy as the towering tailfins of Cars Land take shape over the construction walls.

il y a une date precise pour l'ouverture du ride ? Car j'ai bien envie d'aller y faire un tour fin mai à conditions que The Little Mermaid soit ouvert...

Walkways, barriers grow around the front of the Mermaid building, forming the queue and planters of this soon to open attraction. This ride is on schedule and should be ready for soft openings sometime this Spring, well in time for an official Summer 2011 opening.

Je sait que ce n'est pas le bon topic, concernant carsland, j'imagine qu'en aout 2011 le land ne sera pas ouvert?

Pour l'instant, le projet n'a pas de retard. Il se dit que des soft-openings se feront en avril 2011 et que l'ouverture se fera en mai 2011. Evidemment, Cars Land ne sera pas ouvert...

Je suis subjugué par le calendrier annoncé... Il faut dire que leurs méthodes de constructions sont beaucoup moins contraignantes que chez nous, et donc plus rapides (et éventuellement moins chères!). Chez nous nous sommes obligés de construire de véritables murs en dur, quand eux se contentent de façades posées sur des structures en métal.

Je payerais cher pour aller faire un tour dans le ride maintenant!! =)

Cela dit, chez nous, même lorsqu'il s'agit juste de mettre 3 manèges on met un an et demi...

Les murs de la station de RC racer n'ont rien de murs en dur.
C'est du plastique et il sonne creux.

L'extérieur du bâtiment prend vraiment forme!



It's the first time that we can see a clear view of some facade details and color scheme.


As some of the facade began to be revealed, scaffolding went up elsewhere on the Mermaid building. The front arch is now completely covered by scaffolding as work starts on it.




The new arched walkway covering has been received the first stage of its roofing.

Je suis impressionnée par la taille de l'attraction, en comparaison, Phantom Manor paraît toute petite (même si j'ai bien conscience que c'est le type d'attraction qui est le même alors que l'installation elle est complétement différente), et à quelle vitesse ils construisent çà, en quelques mois l'évolution est flagrante !

Sur les arches déja "habillée" la colorisation est très proche de celle du film je trouve...ça fait rêver tout çà !

Un beau bâtiment en perspective riche en ornementations.
