Shanghai Disneyland (2016) - Le Parc en général

Je ne comprend pas trop le principe de ces passeports... On peut collecter des tampons ok mais quel est le lien avec la technologie à l'intérieur ?
Peut être le meme principe qu'a Walt Disney World et les magic Card qui permet d'animer des vitrines, dans ce cas la passeport animerais des vitrines ou éléments du parc ( on pourrait comparer à la baguette magique d'harry Potter à Universal dans Diagon Alley ).

Après pour moi le Disney's Art of Animation est au même niveau et je saIs que beaucoup l'apprécie...

La déco intérieure des chambres est très poussée, j'aurai bien aimé pouvoir repartir avec le rideau de la douche "petite sirène"

Il s'agit d'une expérience interactive, il y aura une interaction entre les visiteurs et certains éléments et zones du parc grâce à la technologie RFID (la puce électronique étant intégrée au passeport plutôt que dans une carte ou un bracelet). Les visiteurs seront ensuite récompensés pour leur participation avec un cachet souvenir apposé dans leur passeport.

Les tests et essais se poursuivent à Shanghai Disneyland avec par exemple ces billets d'accès au parc dont nous découvrons quelques visuels grâce à cette photo publié sur le réseau social chinois Weibo :

Le problème, c'est que c'est pas censé être le même niveau de luxe .

Tu parles de l'intérieur, de l'extérieur, des deux? Car aux vues des photos, je peux tout à fait comprendre pour l'extérieur. Ca a l'air moche, pas raffiné, pas luxueux, sans ligne directrice, presque Formule 1 en fait. Mais c'est quoi cette structure métallique creuse au sommet au lieu? Quel thème, quelle époque? Neutre, rien.
Que l'intérieur, pour autant qu'on aime un peu les choses surchargées, ça a l'air dans la lignée des autres hôtels Disney de luxe.

Dédé, le Toy Story Hotel n'est pas un hôtel de luxe mais est parfaitement comparable à un hôtel tel que le Disney Art of Animation.

Voici un "home made" trailer pour Shanghai Disneyland. C'est la deuxième version après celle postée il y a deux jours car je me suis rendu compte que des attractions de SDL dont des images étaient disponibles manquaient et je les ai donc rajoutées en fignolant au passage ici et là la première version.

Les essais en situation réelle ont débuté à Shanghai Disneyland.

J'aime beaucoup leur Fantasyland qui semble très vallonné, avec différents niveaux. C'est un concept paysagiste particulièrement nouveau chez Disney.

Par contre leur parade... bof à première vue !

J'accroche vraiment pas à leur château. Il est vraiment trop massif/cubique. C'est simple, c'est un cube avec des tours posées dessus. En plus, niveau finitions, on est très loin des châteaux de Floride ou de Paris. De façon globale, j'accroche pas du tout au concept de jardin géant devant le château, et sans Main Street. A trop vouloir dépoussiérer un concept qui fonctionne pourtant depuis plus de 60 ans, ils risquent d'y perdre certains.

Disney Guests Get Preview of Shanghai Park Before June Opening

Walt Disney Co. employees and guests received a sneak preview of Shanghai Disneyland this weekend, as the world’s largest entertainment company gets set for next month’s official opening of its first theme park in mainland China.

A trial run for the $5.5 billion Shanghai Disney kicked off on Saturday. Guests are limited to the resort’s employees, partners and stakeholders, who can try out some attractions, entertainment and dining on selected dates over a six-week period.

Lines had formed by 10 a.m. outside shops and restaurants in the non-ticketed area, where the World Disney store opened to the public. Wang Xingmiao, a retiree who has never traveled outside of China, is among thousands who came to the site even though he wasn’t on the guest list.

"It opens the eyes of old people and young people to see something like this," the 78-year-old said outside the World Disney store. "It shows the importance of China that something like this comes to us and we don’t have to go out to see it."

Such trials are a key pre-opening step for all Walt Disney Parks and Resorts destinations and major attractions around the world. The Chinese resort, located in Shanghai’s Pudong district, officially opens June 16.

The highly anticipated Chinese park, Disney’s sixth worldwide, comes as the company shocked investors on April 4 when it announced Chief Executive Officer Robert Iger’s top lieutenant Thomas Staggs was departing the company in September, leaving the CEO without an obvious successor. A 26-year-company veteran, Staggs had supervised major expansions such as the Shanghai resort and spearheaded acquisitions for the Burbank, California-based company.

Xi Meeting

Iger met with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday in Beijing, in which Xi cited Disney as an example of expanded cooperation between U.S. and Chinese firms.

“What the Walt Disney Company has been able to achieve in China, I think, is a perfect example of cooperation, but it also came after years of understanding, years of building up a deep respect for one another and appreciation for each other’s interests,” Iger said in remarks to Xi at the meeting.

The CEO has called Shanghai Disneyland the company’s greatest opportunity since Walt Disney bought land in Florida in the 1960s. He’s counting on 330 million Chinese living within a three-hour train or car trip of Shanghai to fill the resort, which boasts two hotels and the largest castle it has built.

Tickets for the Shanghai park, three times the size of Hong Kong Disneyland, are priced at 499 yuan ($77) for peak periods such as weekends and summer holidays, and 370 yuan at other times.

Disney is planning a three-day event to mark the opening of its newest park next month, which will include a red carpet premiere of its Lion King Broadway show, the first time the production will be performed in Mandarin. The company has been on a recruiting drive to staff up the park, which Iger said last year would employ about 10,000 workers.
