Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser [Walt Disney World Resort - 2022-2023]

Pour compléter l'immersion, les voyageurs auront à partir du 2 mai prochain la possibilité de se faire maquiller le visage dans le confort de leur cabine à bord du croiseur interstellaire Halcyon.

Plusieurs design sont disponibles pour un maquillage partiel ou total du visage (sachant que si l'on souhaite se rendre sur la planète Batuu au cours du voyage, il est nécessaire de choisir un design partiel "Batuu aproved" afin de respecter la réglementation qui régit la visite des parcs à thème et qui concerne non-seulement les tenues vestimentaires mais aussi où seul le visage partiellement couvert est autorisé).

La prestation est payante et il est fortement conseillé de la réserver à l'avance, le nombre étant limité.

Costumes et accessoires (coiffures Togruta et Twi'Lek par exemple) sont vendues séparément.

We wouldn’t want you to miss out on any of the fun at Black Spire Outpost, so please remember that only partial face covering is allowed there and in the parks. When you’re browsing the design options, look for the blue “Batuu Approved” symbol to determine if your look is permitted.


Cast Members got to experience the face painting before guests.Brittany has loved Star Wars since she was a child and can’t wait for guests to experience Image Design. “This is going to be another great step for our guests to really live this experience and live their Star Wars story,” she said. “I’m so glad we got to experience Image Design as a team. I resonate with so many stories in the Star Wars universe and being able to look like a Togruta is neat!”




Nick, another avid Star Wars fan, also shared what this special cast moment meant to him. “Getting to experience this with my cast member family is really amazing, and I can’t wait to tell our guests about this. It just takes the immersion to a whole new level!”

Le programme des croisières à bord du croiseur interstellaire Halcyon pour l'année prochaine (jusqu'à septembre 2023) est disponible et les dates de départ sont dès à présent listées sur le site officiel.

La phase de prévente a débuté jeudi et s'achèvera mercredi prochain. Le grand public aura accès aux réservations à partir du jeudi 1er septembre.

Bon, si on en croit la dernière vidéo de la chaine youtube TPMVIDS, c'est encore un jolie projet foutu en l'air que cette expérience d'avant garde a bord de ce cruiser. C'est un flop :

-Personne ne réserve, les calendriers sont vides
-C'est excessivement cher
-Le rapport qualité prix laisserait en plus à désirer ...

Sur le papier, rien d'irrattrapable dans un sens, mais c'est du grand Chapek dans toute sa splendeur : ça coute un bras et une jambe et en plus ça n'est pas justifié. ça se sentait venir à 10 000 km tant c'était risqué ce projet BLING BLING et tant les conditions de l'expérience sont foutrement mal pensées et exploitées dans un parc à thème populaire et familial.

Visiblement c'est pas si vide que ça, il y aurait quelques dates sold-out pendant le springbreak!
Après ils ont fait des "promos" mais limitées aux membres DVC et de toute façon je ne pense pas qu'ils peuvent baisser drastiquement leurs tarifs à moins de virer certaines prestations.

Les tarifs pour les prestations offertes sont quand même totalement disproportionnés (on parle quand même de séjours de 2 nuits à plus de 5 000 dollars !)
S'ils ne baissent pas drastiquement pour l'instant, c'est que le taux d'occupation reste suffisant pour rapporter de l'argent et sans doute plus qu'avec des tarifs plus bas.
Le jour où ce sera vraiment trop peu rempli, là je t'assure, les prix diminueront

Le problème c'est qu'en baissant drastiquement le prix ça risque d'être mal pris par les clients qui auraient réservé/séjourné avant, c'est pour ça que je pense que si il y a baisse drastique des tarifs ils supprimeront certaines prestations histoire de ne pas trop perdre la face.

De toute façon je pense que dans le "pire" des cas ils peuvent toujours abandonner leur principe de croisières et repartir sur un hôtel plus traditionnel.

Walt Disney World Resort ajuste les départs de ses croisières galactiques pour la période d'octobre à décembre 2023 durant laquelle deux départs seront proposés par semaine (trois en période de vacances/fêtes de fin d'année).

Cet ajustement de planification permet d'assurer le taux d'occupation tout en maintenant les tarifs et en réduisant les coûts d'exploitation.

Les dates de départs de l'Halcyon pour le dernier trimestre de l'année sont :

Octobre 2023 : 3, 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27, 29

Novembre 2023 : 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 21, 24, 26

Décembre 2023 : 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 26, 29, 31

The stunning, illuminated artwork displayed on the balcony of Deck 7 above the Atrium, called “The Unified Galaxy,” was commissioned by Leia after their honeymoon voyage as a gift to the crew. A less flashy, but equally fun fact: rumor has it that Han and Leia also left an engraving on a pipe somewhere in the usually off-limits Engineering Room … has anyone found it yet?



2. Your journey could be (Han) Solo, if you’d like

While we recommend cruising the galaxy with adventurous comrades, every passenger chooses their own path during the journey. This could mean your party might split up, if you so desire, with some marching in step with a First Order lieutenant while others sneak away to help smuggle Resistance cargo. Each decision you make gives you the chance to join even more exclusive, tailored experiences that only a few passengers get to see. 3. Bantha milk on tap – IYKYK

Passengers are welcome to as much blue (or green) milk as their hearts desire with breakfast, lunch or dinner. Crew members even let us in on this special tip: Mix blue AND green milk to get what some refer to as “galaxy” milk, a refreshing blend of both that resembles the galaxy when swirled together! These specialty milks from Bubo Wamba Family Farms are also used for a variety of treats onboard the ship – from blue yogurt parfaits at breakfast, to swirls of blue bantha butter that accompany delectable pastries and breads.



4. VIP (very important passenger) both on- and off-planet

As the pride of Chandrila Star Line, the Halcyon starcruiser is perhaps best known for its spectacular passenger service. You’ll make fast friends among the crew who will greet you by name, have your beverage of choice waiting by day two, leave special touches in your cabin, and make lasting memories alongside you – the best souvenir you could ask for. This VIP treatment doesn’t stay behind on the ship, either. After taking a transport shuttle to your excursion destination of Batuu, you’ll be given a special sigil pin that identifies you as a passenger. Don’t be surprised when you’re recognized by Batuuans or maybe get a special call-out from Hondo Ohnaka while on a mission aboard the Millennium Falcon.

5. Fireworks in space?!

You heard that right. You don’t have to be celebrating Boonta Eve on Tatooine to enjoy sparkles in the sky. The view from the viewports aboard the Halcyon starcruiser are always interesting, from hyperspace jumps to overnight views of magnificent nebulas or even unexpected aerial visitors from … other ships. But space gets a little extra shimmer with a firework spectacular that will have you saying ‘ta’bu e tay’ (cherish the moment) as you reflect on the memories you’ve made during this out-of-this-world experience.

C’est un véritable aveu d’échec pour Disney. Ce projet restera incontestablement dans les fiascos les plus chères de Disney Parls …

Je pense que l'on ne peut que se réjouir de cette nouvelle.

Comme quoi, quand on va trop loin dans les délires au niveau des tarifs, les gens ne répondent plus présents, Disney ou pas Disney, Star Wars ou pas Star Wars.

J'espère que ca va aussi pousser Disney à être plus prudent dans la tarification de ses autres hôtels. Les prix des hôtels Deluxe américains sont devenus fous (ce qu'ils n'étaient pas, ou en tout cas beaucoup moins, il y a même pas une dizaine d'années).

C’est fou ! J’aurais vraiment trop aimé y aller. L’idée était bonne mais le prix calme…

Nan mais c'est si cher a faire tourner qu'au lieu de baisser les prix ils préfèrent tout simplement fermer l'hôtel ???

Disney est vraiment le fossoyeur de Star Wars a tous les niveaux c'est incroyable.

Triste fin ! Il y a un seuil psychologique en terme de prix qui fut largement dépassé pour vivre cette expérience. C'est tout de même incroyable de se planter à ce point.

Et bah voilà, je l'avais bien dit dés le début que cette merdouille en or massif était une prise de risque monumentale et inconsidérée.

Dans le jargon ça s'appelle une "Jonh Hammond". Franchement c'est la honte, tout ça pour ça et encore un échec Star Wars de surcroix. Bon c'était du produit Chapek certes, mais quand même ... la honte.
Bon maintenant il y a fort a parier que l'hotel va être désossé et le mobilier, les décors vont atterrir à droite à gauche.

Il devient urgent que cette compagnie revienne vite mettre les pieds sur Terre. Donc on défèque des biftons qui partent dans la cuvette ici, et on est pas foutu de faire une enveloppe satisfaisante sur un seul ride comme Flight Force ...

Disney ... Plus jamais une connerie comme ça. Sinon tu retourneras Mickey ta mère.
