On a une idée des mesures de ce château. L’ouvrier en bas à gauche de la photo paraît bien petit même si il faut tenir compte de l’angle de prise de la photo .

Un nouveau blogger chinois apparu le mois dernier a partagé ce matin cette photographie du Castle of Magical Dreams :

J'adoooore ,conclusion des Châteaux Disney ,on a le château le moins imposant avec celui de Californie pas forcement dans la masse,la hauteur ,la grandeur mais dans l'effet Waou style a ,oui quand même !!! et fade bon ça c'est parce qu'il a pas été rénové a fond par contre leur cour du château ainsi que les rides ,boutiques autour ,on est bien au dessus a Dlp , c'est d'un laid.

J'aime bien aussi leur technologie de projecteur rétractable pour les shows nocturnes qui ne gâche pas le paysage en journée .ça a était pensé avec la refonte du chateau chez nous ,c'était pas inclus avec le chateau en 1992 ,des rajouts subtil et invisible en journée pour certains et d'autres visibles sur les toits de Main Street .

perso, je trouve le château plus beau de l'arrière que de l'avant. ça fait moins empilement de styles (et surtout, rajout sur l'ancien château qui est flagrant à l'avant)

Je trouve ce château absolument magnifique !
Ca me donnerait presque envie de retourner à Hong-Kong ^^

Perso, ce que je regrette dans ce genre de transformation, c'est que le château perd une de ses fonctions premières : être la porte d'entrée de Fantasyland.
Pour moi, traverser le château en arrivant de face demeure une expérience en soi, qui disparaît à la fois par la position des rampes d'accès sur le côté, mais surtout par le fait que l'accès au château risque d'être fermé durant chaque show, comme c'est déjà le cas par exemple à WDW (où je ne me rappelle pas avoir traversé le château une seule fois en je ne sais combien de visites)
Le château se retrouve ainsi relégué au rang de décor pour spectacles

Quand ce sera fini (car oui, c'est toujours pas fini)

je me demande quel type de mapping ils vont pouvoir faire sur un château à la fois aussi élancé et avec autant de formes différentes. Je crains que ça ne ressemble pas à grand chose

L'inauguration était prévue le 12 septembre, jour de l'inauguration du parc, mais a été annulée suite à la seconde fermeture du parc le 15 juillet dernier.

Il a alors été communiqué que l'inauguration du Castle of Magical Dreams aurait lieu à la fin de l'année (dernier trimestre) sans plus de précision.

Depuis la réouverture partielle du parc vendredi dernier (cinq jours par semaine), une inauguration reportée à 2021 a été évoquée sans confirmation, ni infirmation.  

A l'heure actuelle le resort n'a communiqué aucune date. Dès que celle-ci sera connue, le titre du présent sujet sera mis à jour.

J'adore vraiment ce château.

Je crois que c'est mon préféré de tous les magic kingdom.

Moi aussi depuis le premier concept art ,je trouve ce château le plus beau des parcs Disney. J'attends de voir comment il sera mis en valeur avec ses éclairages  de nuit . Vraiment magnifique, je m'inquiète pas pour le mapping d'un night show vu sa largeur et grandeur sans compter la seconde partie haute du château au couleurs claires qui rendra très bien pour de la projection.Sur le notre ,ça ne le fait pas le mapping pas assez de surface de projection. Notre largeur on l'a mais ils l'ont étendue sur  tout le côté droit  jusqu'à l'entrée de Fantasyland ce n'est pas un château d'un seul bloc massif comme les autres .

Très beau château. Quel plaisir de le voir enfin se dévoilé.

Welcome the Castle of Magical Dreams

Inspired by 13 stories of beloved Disney Princesses and Queens, the Castle of Magical Dreams offers something special for every guest with its many towers and spires embracing iconic patterns, textures, colors and ornamentation unique to each story.

When the reimagined castle opens to the public – the first of its kind in Disney’s history – not only will it be a living centerpiece of Hong Kong Disneyland, but it will also act as a shining beacon of courage, hope and possibility to all guests. Guests will be able to admire these features both up-close and afar, against the idyllic backdrop of the lush landscape of the surrounding mountains.



As part of the castle’s magical transformation, the resort invited guests, cast members, community partners and Disney friends, including Mickey Mouse, to share their own dreams and wishes on “magical dream cards.” These cards were collected in a treasure chest and lifted to the top of the tallest tower in the castle. This act symbolizes the rebirth of the castle through the power of everyone’s aspirations, ensuring that the heart of the resort will always be filled with hopes and dreams.



Witness the castle’s magical transformation

This is the first time in Disney history that an existing castle has undergone such a grand transformation. To mark the occasion, guests can visit the “Building a Dream: The Magic Behind a Disney Castle” exhibition, and embark on a visual journey that goes behind the magic, discovering the Walt Disney Imagineering process of reimagining the beloved castle, and gaining insights into the transformation from concept and design development, to the innovative building techniques, interpretation of the Disney Princesses and Queens’ stories in partnership with Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios, and upcoming entertainment offerings.







Starting the same day, a special “Glimpse into the Magic” tour of the Castle of Magical Dreams will be available to guests. This tour allows guests to venture through the castle, whilst being guided by an audio narration from local celebrity and Disney fan, Karena Lam. “It’s a very immersive tour which allows guests to appreciate the architectural designs of the towers, turrets, domes, spires and finials, and see how their various colors, icons, patterns, and cultural features were inspired by the Princesses and Queens,” Lam shared after experiencing the tour.





Virtual countdown to the 15th anniversary launch

To celebrate this historic milestone, the resort is launching a 15-day countdown to the 15th anniversary celebration from November 6 on the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort official website. This virtual countdown to the launch will also be available on the resort’s Instagram account, inviting guests from all around the world to join in the celebrations.

15 Years of Magical Dreams

Since its grand opening, Hong Kong Disneyland has been a place where countless dreams have come true, and even more dreams will become a reality in the years to come. To celebrate the park’s 15th birthday celebration, guests can gather even more joy and wonders at the entrance of the park with a limited edition 15th anniversary-themed button, which will be distributed to guests from November 21, while supplies last.

L'arrière a l'air moins travaillé que l'avant, les parties latérales à côté du vitrail sans rien dessus fait bizarre

Oui c'est dommage sur ce point
Malgré tout l'arrière du château est aussi bourré de petit détails, j'aime beaucoup la partie à droite de l'arrière du château (qu'on.ne voit pas beaucoup sur cette photo)


Hâte de découvrir l'intérieur ! (Même si il n'a pas l'air d'y avoir un étage au final)
