Toy Story Hotel [Tokyo Disney Resort - 2021]

L'avantage c'est que le value donc moins cher, est plus attirant. Je suis curieux si ce machin aura du succès. Dans le même genre on va dire il y a le Legoland Hotel à Dubaï mais tellement plus soigné et recherché.

C'est sans doute parce que le Value est à 10/15 minutes en bus.

Mais je m'attendais vraiment pas à ce que cet hôtel tombe dans la catégorie moderate :/
J'espère que la théma intérieur et l'aménagement de l'hôtel sera plus plaisant.

Mdr. Les japonais sont capables du meilleur comme du pire.

Ils peuvent construire un DisneySea d’une beauté inégalée et à côté foutre du pauvre stickage cache misère sur la façade. Je pense d’ailleurs que le rendu sans stickage était sûrement plus esthétique. Car là on frôle le ridicule .

Le Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel accueillera ses premiers résidents le 5 avril 2022. La date d'ouverture des réservations sera annoncée ultérieurement.

This new Disney hotel, full of playful designs that immerse guests in the creative imagination of Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story films, brings to life the world of toys featured in the popular, award-winning animated features.





From the moment guests arrive, they will feel like they’ve been shrunk to the size of a toy. Outside of the hotel, guests will find oversized toy action play figures, each around four meters tall, of their favorite pals. Buzz Lightyear and Jessie are part of Slinky Dog Park in front of the entrance, while Woody and Bo Peep can be found in Toy Friends Square, a courtyard off the lobby.

The lobby itself is a colorful, toy-filled space with a jigsaw puzzle-inspired floor and a ceiling designed to look like a board game. The guest rooms recall Andy’s bedroom from the first Toy Story film, featuring his iconic blue-sky-and-and-puffy-white-cloud wallpaper, along with Woody’s Roundup inspired headboards and an oversized Mickey Mouse wristwatch hanging on one of the walls, among other toy-like fixtures and furnishings.

The Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel is a moderate-type Disney hotel, offering 595 rooms.

The hotel has streamlined facilities and services to bring guests a new option between the existing deluxe- and value-type Disney hotels. With this hotel, Disney Hotel will be able to meet the needs of even more guests, offering yet another option filled with Disney fun.


Guest Rooms

The hotel offers 575 standard rooms and 20 superior rooms for a total of 595 rooms. All rooms feature a design inspired by Andy’s room from the Toy Story films.

Rooms that sleep up to three guests have two regular beds and a trundle bed, rooms for up to four guests have three regular beds and a pull-down bed.

Lotso Garden Cafe With an interior inspired by Lotso the pink teddy bear from Toy Story 3, this restaurant offers buffet service at breakfast and dinner.

Each guest staying at the hotel can purchase one 1-Day Passport per night for one of the Parks during their stay, except on their check-in day. The tickets can be purchased at the hotel (Subject to change without notice).

Un aperçu du Toy Story Hotel à une dizaine de jours de son ouverture officielle :

Étrangement, je ne sais pas dire si j’adore ou je déteste.

Il y a certaines bonnes idées, après j’ai l’impression qu’au niveau de raffinements on s’égare rapidement. C’est étrange cette sensation.

C’est à l’image de ce building qui est une horreur maisi pourtant l’idée de faire comme si c’était un dessin de gosse n’est pas si mal trouvé..

Entre l’horreur absolue et la bonne idée, j’oscille.

Les gosses vont ADORER

Et bien moi j'assume j'aime beaucoup !
Je comprends toutes les critiques, mais des hôtels raffinés ce resort en a déjà .
Avec cette offre on s'adresse surtout aux enfants et je pense qu'ils seront ravis. Je ne dis pas que les enfants ne sont pas capables d'apprécier la qualité loin de là mais la thématisation me semble assez poussé, l'immersion sera au rendez vous et je dois avouer que moi même je serais ravi de passer une nuit à cet hôtel lors de ma visite.
Je peux entendre que c'est too much comme partie pris cette deco mais elle me plaît quand même.
Et soyons franc, auprès des enfants et des fans de toy story dont je fait partie je pense que cet hôtel rencontrera un vrai succès.

Aux dernières nouvelles, l'accès au Toy Story Hotel serait exclusivement réservée aux résidents de l'hôtel.

Mes 26 ans viennent d'en prendre un coup x)

Moi aussi je trouve cette hôtel sympa avec une théma ultra poussé ,c'est vrai que les enfants vont adorer. Il y a bien plus de décors que dans notre Tsp . Après c'est pas comparable mais l'Hotel art of Marvel fait vraiment froid avec une théma light dans les chambres. Mais bon c'est pas la même cible .

La cérémonie d'inauguration s'est déroulé aujourd'hui en présence de la presse et d'invités, des Personnages de l'univers Toy Story et des membres de la famille Kasai qui sont, à l'issue d'un tirage au sort, officiellement les premiers résidents du Toy Story Hotel :

Pas du tout ma came. J'ai l'impression de crécher dans une halte garderie géante.

Et quand je reviens d'une journée entière sur les parc, je veux juste une chambre calme et élégante. Pas envie de me reposer dans un coffre à jouet Disney.

Mais comme souligner ici, la proposition d'un univers très cartoon et coloré fait sens et se différencie du reste des hôtels (il en faut pour tous les gouts), il est a peu prêt sûr que le succés sera au rendez vous, et les enfants ont droit de s'éclater dans ce coffre à jouet, force et PROZAC aux parents

objectivement, parfois le "plus" est l'ennemi du "mieux" et c'est vraiment le cas ici. C'est juste too much. Il y a une overdose de couleurs jusqu'à l'indigestion. Effectivement, on dirait une garderie pour enfants XXL. ça plaira certainement aux enfants (et sans doute aux Japonais en général très friand de kitsch), mais perso, je n'y mettrais pas un pied (et pourtant, je suis plutôt client des all stars resort américains, pop century et art of animation, dont je trouve qu'il manque un hôtel de ce genre à Paris, mais ces hôtels font épurés et sobres en comparaison de cet hôtel Toy Story)

Earlier today the Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel welcomed its first guests. With 595 guest rooms, the 11-story Toy Story Hotel is the fifth Disney-themed accommodation at Tokyo Disney Resort and its first moderate-class resort.





Upon arrival guests will immediately feel immersed into the world and colorful imagination of Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie and all their favorite friends from the Toy Story films. Walt Disney Imagineering and Pixar Animation Studios collaborated on the design to make guests feel as if they are shrunk to toy-size and are welcomed as “honorary toys.” As the story goes, Andy has assembled this toy hotel so that his toys have a place to stay and play while he is away at Cowboy Camp.





In the front plaza area of the hotel is Slinky Dog Park, celebrating the fun and joy of playing with toys. Guests will discover oversized toy action figures of Jessie and Buzz Lightyear, nearly 12 feet tall, standing on an enormous Slinky Dog game board.





Inside the lobby, guests will find slot cars racing on tracks overhead, a giant Bo Peep game board on the ceiling, puzzle pieces used to decorate the floor, colorful furniture and more.





Off the lobby is Gift Planet, a merchandise location overseen by the Aliens, where guests may purchase unique Toy Story Hotel merchandise.







The bright colors and theming continue through the elevator areas and guest corridors. The hotel has two wings. One side is themed to Buzz Lightyear and the other is themed to Woody’s Roundup. The guest rooms themselves are reminiscent of Andy’s own bedroom, with the iconic cloud motif adorning the walls. The television set is a giant Etch-A-Sketch.





Guests can dine at the Lotso Garden Café, themed to everyone’s favorite strawberry-scented bear. This buffet-style restaurant serves delicious food, including desserts inspired by Toy Story. Guests will enjoy eating in the colorful dining area with murals depicting Lotso raising smiling fruits and vegetables.





Facing Tokyo Bay in the back of the hotel, and accessible from behind the lobby, guests will climb stairs past an oversized Hamm operating a toy crane hoisting his Alien friends and enter Toy Friends Square.





This area celebrates the beauty, wonder and importance of friendship. Here they will encounter oversized figures of Woody and Bo Peep, Bo’s three-headed sheep, Wheezy the singing penguin, and several other favorite toys.

The toys can’t wait to welcome all their new “honorary toy” friends. Andy’s away, so it’s time to play!

Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel joins the three deluxe resorts – Tokyo Disneyland Hotel, Disney Ambassador Resort and Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta – and value resort Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel to become the fifth official hotel at Tokyo Disney Resort. Ca me rappelle vaguement le Nickelodeon Hotel qu'il y avait à Orlando. Ce genre de déco très colorée, jouet, enfant, ça peut très vite mal vieillir. A voir sur le long terme.

Mouai toy story a 30 ans bientôt et l'univers n'a pas pris une ride.
Y aura toujours des enfants qui seront plus que ravis de dormir dans cet hôtel.

Bob L'Éponge a 20 ans. Je ne parle pas de licence intemporelle, je parle de déco qui fait très plastique et qui peut vite faire zone de jeu d'un McDo avec le temps.
